Technology Integration Reaction
It is great that we are getting to a point where we can teach students through technology rather than a textbook. When I was watching this video I saw that elementary students are great at learning through the computers and they seem to have more fun doing it. I wish they had us doing more things like that in the video when I was in school, because I would of loved some of my classes more.

I wish that we can use the technology to teach our kids from the text book.

ReplyDeleteI noticed how happy the kids were as well, I just wonder how different this really is. The new generations future is exciting.
ReplyDeleteTechnology is the key to a lot of children's learning. Even with all the different websites out there for kids such as ABC mouse, PBS, Cool Math, and all the sites that are helping kids do better in school.
ReplyDeleteThere are a lot of benefits of teaching kids using technology. Often times technology helps get the reluctant kids to engaged in the lesson when paper and pencil lessons may have put them off the lesson. In some ways technology levels the playing field for kids because not every kid learns the same way and technology may make up for some of where they are struggling which could help them enjoy learning more.
ReplyDeleteAlthough I do agree, I do have to say that textbook learning can still be useful. The great thing about the integration of technology, though, is that there are more options than just textbook learning. Teachers can use different concepts in their classrooms to keep their students engaged and excited to learn.
